The winner was a former car auctioneer's showroom that has been converted "magnificently" into three mews houses. With a six-person Jacuzzi and leather buffers in the garage to prevent your Bentley getting scraped.

It's no surprise the judges found themselves asking "how can you fit so many amazing things into one house?"

They all said they'd move in immediately given half a chance!

Best New Apartment

Against strong competition, Westcombe Homes picked up the Evening Standard New Homes Award for Best New Apartment as a tribute to the design of Flat 1, Chocolate Studios.

With its huge 500 sq ft balcony and impressive open plan space for working and living. The judges considered all the elements of space, materials, lifestyle, finishing touches, special features, location and design layout when selecting their winners.

Best Conversion Project

Westcombe Homes was the winner of the 2006 Your New Homes Award, in the Best Conversion Project category.

The award was achieved for the majestic conversion of Convent Court into 64 luxury apartments. Judges considered the conversion to be an 'architectural masterpiece'.
